Cookie Monster Cupcakes
Hehehe!
I had to make these when I saw them, I just fell in love. But then again I am a huge Sesame Street fan! Seeing as it was my birthday, I decided to treat myself and have a bash at these. And I have to say they look pretty good.
They are made from a normal vanilla cupcake sponge, dyed blue of course. Then I baked a batch of chocolate chocolate chip cookies. Yep, two lots of chocolate, well it is my birthday treat. (“,) Then I iced the cupcakes, adding a little more than usual to make the domed shaped head. I dipped them in dessicated coconut dyed blue to get the furry effect. The hardest bit was shoving the cookies into the mouth without the cupcakes falling apart. I sliced the tops off no problem, but they were crumbling a little. I guess extra icing dosnt hurt! For the eyes, white chocolate buttons and chocolate chips, placed to look googly just like cookie monster. (although I had to fight the other half for these, he could not whip them out of my hand quick enough when I said I was done!)
Todays post was brought to you by the letter ‘C’ cuz C is for COOKIE!!

Well, all was fine until I started to wash up. Whoever invented plastic sinks never thought to test them against food colouring.
I take it you wanted a new blue themed kitchen? I started with the sink for you (“,)
